Video Game Characters

Welcome to the page that showcases all my video game characters.

Most of these are from Bioware games, just because they're one of the few characters that let you shape your own character.
A lot of the characters are still being filled out, but that's because it's late and I'm lazy.
And yes most are called 'Jaye'. Shush :P
Browse and enjoy.

Game: Dragon Age: Origins

Jaye Tabris

Jaye Tabris
Name: Jaye Tabris
Nicknames: N/A
Gender: Female
Class: Rouge (Assassin)
Origin: City Elf
Orientation: Bisexual

Apperance

Ethnicity: Caucasian

General:
Her short messy black-brown hair is roughly cut. She has small, close together eyes and a small mouth; both of which make her face look pinched.
Clothing:
Jaye always sticks to light armour and dual daggers. Even though better boots have been looted, she still wears the boots Adaia made for her.
At the moment, she wears Orlesian light armour called Shadow of the Empire and holds The Rose's Thorn dagger in her main hand and the Beastman's Dagger in her off-hand.

Personality
She has been known to be ruthless, brought up in a destroyed world of city elves. Her mother was her evening star, and when she died she idolised her even more. In her mind, no one was more perfect than her mother.
She always had a way with people, and knew how to mold most men (and certain women) to her wiles. She always thought that the weak only held you back.
Duncan she vauguely looked up to, but thought he would be too 'nobel' to get the job done all the time. But the other Grey Warden that accompanied her and the other recuits - he she related to much more. When Alister showed dissapproval at her merciless ways, she began to reconsider her ways.
But not completely, of course.

History
WARNING: The following is fraught with spoilers.

Origin
Shianni woke you up and reminded you that you were getting married.
You ran into Soris, who was also getting married. He wasn't too happy with the idea.
Vaughan, the Arl of Denerim's son, came to the alienage in order to cause trouble. Shianni knocked him out with a bottle.
Valendrian introduced you to Duncan, a human Grey Warden.
Vaughan was not content to let Shianni's actions slide. He returned and kidnapped the women of the wedding party.
You woke up in the Arl of Denerim's estate. It seemed that Vaughan had some plans for you and your friends.
Soris arrived just in time and handed you the Grey Warden's sword. You managed to free yourself.
Nelaros was murdered trying to rescue you.
You decided to make a deal with Vaughan. He gave you some money and said he would release the women later.
The city guard was about to arrest you for your involvement in the massacre in the Arl's estate, but Duncan stepped in and recruited you as a Grey Warden.

Ostagar
You were introduced to Cailan, the king of Ferelden.
You met Alistair, another Grey Warden.
The newest Grey Warden recruits, including you, were sent to obtain vials of darkspawn blood for a mysterious Grey Warden ritual.
A mysterious woman who called herself Morrigan approached you in the wilds. She said that her mother, Flemeth, had protected the Grey Warden treaties.
Morrigan brought you back to Flemeth, her mother, who gave you the treaties and sent you on your way.
You survived the Joining, though Daveth and Jory did not.
You attended the war council, where the strategy for the battle against the darkspawn was finalized.
You and Alistair were given the task of heading to the top of the Tower of Ishal to light its beacon--the signal for Teyrn Loghain's troops to charge.
The king and his army charged the vast horde of darkspawn at Ostagar.
The Tower of Ishal was overrun with darkspawn and you had to fight your way to the beacon.
A huge ogre was found lurking at the top of the tower. You killed it in order to get to the beacon.
Teyrn Loghain pulled his men from the battle, condemning the king and the Grey Wardens to death.
King Cailan met his death at the hands of a vicious darkspawn ogre.
Loghain betrayed the king and left the battlefield when he was supposed to charge. Darkspawn overwhelmed you, but you were fortunately rescued by Flemeth.
Flemeth gave Morrigan to you and said that you would need her help.
You saved the mabari hound at Ostagar, and he chose you as his master.

Lothering
You encountered a qunari warrior in a cage in Lothering. He had been condemned to death for killing several innocent farmers.
Some of Loghain's men recognized you when you entered the tavern in Lothering. Despite the valiant attempts of a Chantry sister to calm them down, they attacked you.
The sister who helped you fight off Loghain's men was named Leliana. She offered to join your cause.
You freed the qunari, Sten, and he has joined you.
Alistair spoke to you about the nightmares you shared.

Redcliffe
The village of Redcliffe was suffering nightly attacks from vast numbers of strange creatures streaming from the castle.
You offered your help to the mayor, Murdock, who was having trouble equipping the village militia.
You also offered your help to Ser Perth, the leader of Arl Eamon's knights.
You stood by the villagers of Redcliffe as night descended.
Your efforts were well rewarded. Redcliffe is safe, for now, and very few people were lost in the assault.
Redcliffe's problems were coming from the castle, and you entered it in order to investigate.
You encountered Jowan, the mage who poisoned Arl Eamon. He was hired to tutor Connor, the Arl's son.
Connor, the Arl's son, had made a deal with a demon to save his father, resulting in the child's possession.
Connor forced Lord Teagan to fight you. Thankfully, he survived the onslaught.
Connor had to die to eliminate the demon.

Antivian Crow's Ambush
You spared Zevran, and even let him join you.

The Mage's Tower
You found the Circle of Magi in shambles, their tower having been overrun by demons.
You came across one of the Tranquil, Owain, who mentioned that a mage called Niall had come to his stockroom in search of the Litany of Adralla, which protects against blood magic.
You fell into the clutches of a sloth demon while exploring the tower.
A demon disguised as Duncan tried to trick you while you were in the Fade, but you were not deceived.
You met the mage Niall, whose hopes to save the Circle were dashed when he was trapped in the Fade.
You rescued Alistair from his dream of having a happy family.
You woke Wynne from a nightmare in which she had failed to save the apprentices of the Circle.
You rescued Zevran, who was reliving an Antivan Crow initiation ritual.
You navigated the Fade and broke into the sloth demon's sanctum.
You defeated the sloth demon and earned your freedom. Niall, however, had been in the Fade for too long, and his body had perished.
You encountered a templar named Cullen, who insisted that the mages were a lost cause.
Uldred, the mage responsible for all the trouble, had become an abomination.
The mages were grateful for your help, and promised to join your army.
Wynne was impressed with what you did for the Circle, and offered to join your group.

At Camp
Alistair told you about a woman called Goldanna, who he believes is his half-sister.
Morrigan realized that Flemeth needed to die so that she might live.

Denerim - the first time
Alistair was disappointed to learn that Goldanna was not the family he was hoping for.
You met Weylon, an assistant to Brother Genitivi. Genitivi had been missing for some weeks.
You discovered that Weylon was an imposter. You also uncovered some evidence that Genitivi was heading to the small village of Haven.
You took up Zevran's offer to 'share a bed'.
The innkeeper of the Spoiled Princess revealed that suspicious men had threatened him.

Brecilian Forest
You encountered a clan of Dalish elves in the Brecilian forest. The clan's keeper, Zathrian, explained that the clan had fallen prey to a werewolf plague.
You ran into a werewolf, which attacked you. It seemed you were not welcome.
You met the Grand Oak, a strange, talking, rhyming tree.
You recovered the Grand Oak's acorn and returned it to him.
Though the trees themselves tried to block your way, you managed to push past them and entered the werewolves' territory.
You were brought to the Lady of the Forest, who explained that she had calmed the werewolves' savage natures.
You believed that Zathrian had to pay for what he'd done to the werewolves, and led the beasts in a battle against the Dalish.
Grateful for your help, the werewolves pledged themselves to your cause.

At Camp - again
Leliana revealed that she was starting to feel something for you.
Your relationship with Zevran ended.

Denerim - Marjolaine
Leliana went to Denerim to confront an old enemy.

Flemeth
You went to Flemeth's hut to confront her about her plans for Morrigan.

Honnleath
You unearthed Shale's control rod and awakened it, adding a bitter, malfunctioning golem to the menagerie of companions.

Haven
Haven was not all that it seemed to be.
You were not welcome in Haven. Even its priest, Father Eirik, did not appreciate your presence.
Brother Genitivi had been held against his will in Haven's chantry for some time.
You came across Kolgrim, the leader of the cult. He was not happy with your actions.
You struck a deal with Kolgrim, and he led you safely past the high dragon.
The mysterious guardian of the Ashes greeted you as you entered the temple's inner sanctum.
You successfully got past the tests of faith in the gauntlet.
Having gotten past the gauntlet, you were allowed to approach the Urn of Sacred Ashes.
You betrayed Kolgrim, and did not taint the Ashes as he had asked.

Orzammar
Due to a dispute over Orzammar's throne, few were allowed past its gates.
You met with Vartag Gavorn, Prince Bhelen's second-in-command.
You met with Dulin Forender, Lord Harrowmont's second-in-command.
You were allowed to come face to face with Prince Bhelen, after earning his trust.
You were ambushed in the slums while looking for Jarvia's hideout.
After much trouble, you confronted Jarvia herself.
Bhelen believed that the only way to settle the dispute for the throne was to gain a Paragon's vote. You set out to find Orzammar's last living Paragon: Branka.
Due to the bickering going on between the deshyrs, the steward had no choice but to let the Assembly go into recess.
You made your way to Caridin's Cross, part of the old dwarven kingdom that had been lost for centuries.
Oghren took note of various signs that proved that Branka had been past Ortan Thaig.
You caught sight of the archdemon leading the darkspawn horde in the Dead Trenches.
You encountered the Broodmother, a terrible creature that gives birth to the darkspawn.
You tracked down Branka, and found that her obsession with the Anvil of the Void had nearly destroyed her.
Caridin, the creator of the Anvil of the Void, urged you to destroy the Anvil, which he believed to be evil.
Caridin forged the Paragon's Crown, to be given to the chosen king of Orzammar.
You chose Prince Bhelen to be Orzammar's next king.
Oghren, realizing that there was little left in Orzammar for him, decided to join you.

Redcliff - The Ashes
Andraste's Ashes restored Arl Eamon.
Eamon revealed that Alistair was Maric's son, and that he had a strong claim to the throne.
Arl Eamon plans to call a Landsmeet.

Denerim - Preparing for the Landsmeet
Zevran fought alongside you against his former Crow companions, proving himself a loyal asset.
At Erlina's (the Queen's handmaiden) insistance, you set out to rescue Queen Anora from Arl Howe's estate.
You freed Riordan, an Orlesian Grey Warden, from Howe's prison.
You encountered Vaughan in Arl Howe's prison. You left him there to rot.
Arl Howe died at your hands in your rescue attempt.
You freed Queen Anora.
As they fled Howe's estate, Anora in disguise, they were ambushed by Ser Cauthrien, there to arrest Howe's murderer.
You and Alistair were captured and imprisoned in Fort Drakon.
But you escaped and everyone was none-the-wiser.
At Arl Eamon's Denerim estate, Queen Anora offered her aid in defeating her father at the Landsmeet.

Denerim - the Alienage
There was unrest in the elven alienage, and you were sent to investigate.
You foiled the plans of the Tevinter slavers who were selling elves into bondage.
You were reunited with your father upon your return to the Denerim Alienage. He was not too pleased to see you again.

The Grey Warden's Cache
Alistair was grateful for being given Duncan's shield.

The Landsmeet
Ser Cauthrien was slain while trying to stop Jaye from entering the Landsmeet.
Loghain was confronted during the Landsmeet.
Queen Anora betrayed you at the Landsmeet and declared her support for her father.
The nobles of the Landsmeet decided to support you.
A duel was fought to settle the dispute between you and Loghain once and for all. You chose Alistair as your champion.
Alistair executed Loghain for his crimes.

Denerim 'Camp'
Alistair believed that his duty as king came before your relationship, and ended it.
But you fell into Leliana's arms moments later.

Shale's Intuition
You searched the Deep Roads, hoping to trigger Shale's latent memories.
You find a Thiag that Shale is sure holds her past.
Three hundred years earlier, she had been Shayle of House Cadash, warrior of King Valtor, and a volunteer who chose to dedicate her life for all time to the defense of Orzammar.

Redcliffe - Organising the Armies
You returned to Redcliffe so as to find Arl Eamon and discuss how to fight the Blight.
The darkspawn attacked Redcliffe in force, and it had to be defended.
You discovered that the bulk of the horde was marching on Denerim.
Riodan explains to you and Alistair why Grey Wardens are needed to slay the Archdemon and end the Blight - because a Grey Warden needs to sacrifice themselves to slay the Archdemon's body and spirit.
Morrigan came to tell you about a ritual that would ensure that the Grey Warden who kills the archdemon does not die.
You refused to have anything to do with Morrigan's ritual. In turn, she left your party.

The End
The armies of Ferelden were inspired by Alistair's rousing speech.
Riordan attempted to take on the Archdemon himself. He wounded one of it's wings, almost grounding it, but died before he could deliver the final blow.
You fought to the top of Fort Drakon to engage the archdemon.
You couldn't let Alistair slay the Archdemon and sacrifice himself.
You slew the Archdemon.
The archdemon's death caused the darkspawn to flee.
The Blight is ended.

Jaye Upsilon

Name: Jaye Upsilon

Gender: Female
Age: erm 30's? (I don't think you ever actually find out...)
Species: Human
Class: Scoundral

Apperance
Ethnicity: Caucasian
General:
Her dusty black hair is roughly tied back in a casual low ponytail. Her face has slowly detoriated as time passes and she commits more acts worthy of the dark side.

Awakeing on the Endar Spire, Jaye knew something was wrong. Her limbs moved faster than her brain comprehended, the weight of the blade in her hand was... different. As if it was too balanced. This all imediatly put her on suspicion of her self and her memory.
On a alien planet, her only companion is Carth Onasi. And even though he is highly untrusting, she finds herself clinging to him. She has a memory that she has done this before. His doom-laden demour forces her to respond with much more light-hearted words.
But all in all she has a job to do, and she will do it. She won't jump ship... not into the ocean anyway. She knows money gets power and she won't be left defenceless again.
